(Rompin' Around the Animal Kingdom)

Rapscallion by Samantha Pleet for Urban Outfitters Romper | DVF Lanai Knot Flip Flop | Marc Jacobs Script Sunglasses | XOXO Skinny Headband

Rompers are one of the best articles of clothing money can buy for your visit to Walt Disney World. I love the ease of slipping them on plus the no-fuss factor for your day in the sun. I wore a strapless romper for my day in Animal Kingdom, and did find myself pulling up the top every now and then - maybe get something with straps to be safe. In any case, this is one of my favorite photos from one of our many trips.

Do you have a favorite one-piece that you wore or plan to wear to Disney World? Send me your photos!

Happy Romping!

(Photo Op: Honey I Shrunk the Kids)

J, May 2009.
One of my favorite places in Disney's Hollywood Studios is the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play set. Depending on the time of your visit, the area is typically crawling (pun intended!) with people.

A visit to the play set is not complete without a ride on top of Anty! The photo of me above is from our May 2010 visit. Notice the little girl in the background, clearly anxious to get her chance with the giant insect.

(A Pirate's Life For Me)

While we are still going through many boxes and eliminating many possessions to fit into our cozy studio apartment, J and I are very much enjoying our new home in DC. I wanted to check in and ask how are you? I hope everyone is enjoying our transition into fall.

While I'm still busy adjusting to life in the city, I wanted to leave you with a wonderful memory from our recent Disney Cruise in the Mediterranean. It was Pirates IN the Caribbean night, and J and I had just picked some yummy looking treats from the dessert buffet. We wandered to Deck 9 Aft, away from the commotion of the party, and felt as if we had the ship all to ourselves...

(Happy Labor Day)

Anthropologie Sheer Silk Tee | Loft Nautical Shorts | Nordstrom Intimates Bandeau | Gorjana Key Necklace
When the sun starts to set today, the unofficial end of summer will be upon us. I hope that you have all enjoyed your long weekend. It's time to fall back into my most favorite of seasons. This summer has brought me great memories, new friends, and experiences that will last a lifetime. I can only hope that this harvest season will bring the same. Thank you for reading!

Happy Labor Day,

(Must See: Le Jardin Exotique Eze)

If asked to name the most peaceful, extraordinarily beautiful place that I have ever been to, Le Jardin d'Eze would be the first thing that comes to mind. The gardens, which are filled with a number of exotic flowers and cacti, were built after WWII on the ruins of a chateau. The steep cliffs stand more than 1300 feet over the bluest of waters, and the panoramic views of the coast are breathtaking.

There is a fair amount of climbing, but it's worth it. If you get there earlier in the day like we did, you'll feel like you're the only person in the world....

If your Mediterranean cruise stops in Villenfranche, I urge you to go to Eze. You'll be so glad you did.

And now, your moment of Zen:

Happy Cruising!

(Just Me & My Hammock)

What's this? Have I sailed away to a tropical island, perhaps in the Caribbean? No, but close! I'm acting a beach bum in a hammock on one of Caribbean Beach Resort's many sandy beaches. Don't forget to take advantage of these little beauties when you stay at the resort, Jamaican-themed headband not included!

(Fashion Files: Safari-Ready)

On a hot, sunny day in May, we booked our two-week adventure with the Kilimanjaro Safaris. I boarded Simba One fully prepared for the hot African temperatures with a cool one piece, and of course a hat to protect from the sun!
